The Bergen County Wild Duck
Pond at 1133 East Ridgewood Ave. features a skating pond, fishing, picnic
area, and bicycle track. Graydon Pool located at Linwood and Maple
Avenues serves residents for swimming in summer and ice skating in winter.
Kasschau Memorial Shell is the site for evening concerts and movies.
Ridgewood also offers a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display.

Ridgewood
is the epitome of what a well balanced town should be. Graced by
distinctive homes and well maintained properties, it also offers its
residents the maximum in town facilities and a wide variety of housing
options.
The outstanding recreational facilities,
adult programs, fine arts, music school, libraries, and many other
excellent amenities make Ridgewood stand out as a model of success.
Graydon Pool, the municipal swimming and summer activities complex, has a
large shaded sandbottom pool and full facilities for picnicking and
outings. The adjacent twelve-acre Veteran's Park offers a broad
expanse of grass for children's play. Golf courses are only minutes
away, and there are many tennis courts within short walking distance.
Ridgewood's excellent school systems
includes nine public schools, including an outstanding high school.
There are also several pre-school and kindergarten programs available in
town. Education has always been a priority in Ridgewood. The
center of town is a main attraction and features many fine restaurants and
upscale shops. A train
station for easy commutation to NYC is also in the center of town
as well as a bus station in Van Neste Square. |
